Creature Curation 2019 – Year in review

WOW! 2019 has been one heck of a year.

I have to go back and look at my calendar and photos so that I can recall everything that happened this year, and it was a lot.

First off, before I dive into it, if you have supported us in any way THANK YOU. Without you believing in our weirdness we couldn’t do what we love.

2019 was filled with a lot of shows including GAMA, PAX East, Origins, GenCon, DragonCon, and IX. The first 3 we got to be a part of Norse Foundry’s booth and I even got to do some live sculpting of Crit at Origins.

2019 was also a huge year for creating RPG content.

Our Cardography Kickstarter fullfiled as we finished writing the modules that accompanied each deck. We also created 2 new adventure modules for RPG Crate set in Revilo. We even did a full takeover one month providing all of the items that went in the crate, which was a great experiece. I don’t think we could put out a full crate every month, that is a ton of work!

We started a Revilo themed Patreon where we release new content for D&D every month and have been going strong since March!

On top of all of that, we had a Kickstarter for our very own Campaign Setting and Bestiary for Revilo!!! With over 600 backers the final products are set to ship at the end of March. We have been working hard to make it our best content yet!

But wait, there’s more.

We expanded our enamel pin line, and even landed distribution so that more of our products can find their way into your local gaming stores! We even created a new slow-rise foam Eyegor toy!

I know, that seems like enough for one year. A bunch of my sculpted creatures found their new homes. There are even 6 of them in Lumos & Nox, a restaurant in Ontario.

The very best part though of this year has been the people. Between the folks we have had the chance to work with, the friends we have made at conventions, and the folks we’ve chatted with online. People are what make this industry we love so amazing.

Thank you, everyone who helped make 2019 as fantastic as it was!
